For
Rigid Heddle Looms |
|
Step 1. Attach the uprights to the bases
using a
3 1/2” trusshead machine screw and a barrel nut for each upright
as shown in the diagram. Attach the right upright (with the logo) to the
base so that the smaller hole in the base is on the same side as the logo.
|
 |
|
 |
Step 2. Attach the
stand to the loom. Push a 2 1/2” flathead machine screw through the hole
in the heddle holder on the inside of the loom and then through the hole
in the top of the upright. Secure with a washer and wing nut. Repeat for
the other side. |
|
Step 3. Install the adjuster bars on
the loom sides. Orient the adjuster bar so that the flange on the metal
insert faces out. From the inside of the loom, push a 2” trusshead machine
screw through the hole at the bottom of the loom side, then through a
nylon spacer and into the metal insert on the adjuster.
Secure the other end of the adjuster bar to the upright. From the inside
of the upright, push a
1 3/4”
carriage bolt into the hole in the upright, through the slot in the
adjuster bar and fasten with a washer and wing nut. Tap the carriage bolt
into the upright with a hammer. |
 |
 |
Step 4. Install the cross supports
into each base using a 2 1/2” trusshead machine screw and a barrel nut as
shown in the diagram. Then attach the cross supports to each other, lining
up the holes of the two cross supports to fit the width of your loom.
Secure with 2” trusshead machine screws, washers and wing nuts.
