Support: How Old Is My Matchless Spinning Wheel?

Matchless Spinning Wheel: The serial number is on the back of the wheel, on a small, rectangular piece of wood that protrudes slightly.

The serial number on a Matchless is the date of assembly (mmddyy.)

Example: DT102407 2 = a double treadle wheel built on October 24, 2007, the second wheel built that day.

Single Treadle wheels only have the date and sequence number, no letters.
