Deadline for Schacht Contest is September 1

I hope you are finalizing your weaving or spinning entry into our Schacht “I Made It on My Schacht” Contest. If you haven’t even begun yet—there’s still time! Just make yourself a little schedule and stick to it. You’ll do it. You really will! You’ve got a whole 29 days! You CAN do it! The entry details are on our web-site at

Meanwhile, I’m working like the devil on my book. I’m done-done with chapters 1 and 2 and hope to wrap up chapter 3 in a day or so. That just leaves 4 and 5, plus some other little dibby dabs.

Here’s a little challenge and a prod…if I can finish my book by September 1, surely you can complete a contest entry.

Also, I’m really hoping to see some You-tube entries showing you demonstrating weaving and spinning. There just needs to be more info on our crafts on You-Tube.
