“WEAVE A LATTICE LACE SCARF (GET CREATIVE WITH JANE & STEPHANIE)

Saturday, March 1, 9-4pm

This class is focused on learning a new technique and will result in a finished scarf at the end of the day. We’ll start by warping Cricket Looms with a beautiful felted roving yarn and then learn a leno lace technique, the “Jane Technique”, developed by Jane when she was working on her Weaver’s Idea Book. Jane and Stephanie will share tips for creating unique cloth and how to get from inspiration to finished project. ADVANCED BEGINNER RIGID HEDDLE WEAVING SKILLS REQUIRED. USE OF OUR LOOMS AND YARNS PROVIDED.

GYPSY DANCER SCARF (GET CREATIVE WITH JANE & STEPHANIE)

You can create wonders with your bits and pieces of stash. Bring them to this class and Jane and Stephanie will help you weave them up into a darling little accessory. Part of the charm of this little scarf is the felted stripe down the center, so you’ll need at least one fine yarn that felts. Shuttles has oodles of choices for felting yarns.
