Scarf by Sara Goldenberg White
I’m off to NYC to see some textile shows, visit with folk, and give a lecture at the New York Guild of Handweavers. My talk, entitled, “Creative Cloth: Planning, Play and Perfecting Ideas to Make Cloth You Love”, concerns itself with how to figure out what it is you want to do, developing your ideas, and persisting until the image you have in your mind’s eye is what you envisioned in the first place. If you’re in the City, I hope to see you there.
The Place: The School of Visual Arts, 214 East 21st Street (between 2nd and 3rd Avenues)
The Time: 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 27th
