Spinzilla 2017 Recap

Here at Schacht, Spinzilla brings us together and provides an opportunity to teach employees how to spin (this year 6 new spinners joined the ranks). Different departments: production, assembly, shipping, and the front office enjoyed spinning together over lunch, breaks, and a Friday evening party. Spinzilla also connects us with Schacht alumni from all over the country.

Our team spun a total amount of 65,799 yards, that’s just a few miles short of the distance it takes to get from the Schacht factory in Boulder to the Ikea warehouse in Centennial, CO. Our top spinner was Cheryl Nachtrieb with a total of 9,779 yards, just shy of 10K! She was followed closely by Denise Renee with a total of 9,204 yards.

We were thrilled to host spinners from all over Colorado and Wyoming at the Denver Art Museum for our 4th annual Spin-in. It’s always inspiring to see so many enthusiastic spinners in one place.
