Below, from Lorna's Laces, we woven swatches with in their hand-painted yarn, Pearl, a silk/bamboo blend in colorway "Christmas at Downton". This is another example of the variety of patterns that are created when the same multi-colored yarn is crossed on itself. Assembling these swatches into a bigger piece, such as a shawl or top, will create a lot of movement in the fabric. We gave these swatches a hard press, creating an even more shimmering fabric.
