Journey into the world of warp-faced bands! With an inkle loom, you can produce a variety of useful items like keychains, bookmarks, belts, and bag straps. This class will cover the basics - from warping the loom to weaving plain weave. We'll also explore more intricate weaving with pick-up patterns. Join us now and uncover the magic of inkle weaving!

What's included

Price includes yarn and use of a Schacht loom for the duration of the course.

What you'll need

Please bring water, lunch, scissors, cloth measuring tape and a large eye tapestry needle.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your course registration more than 8 days before it starts, you'll receive a full refund. If you cancel between 8 days and 24 hours before the course date, 50% of the fee will be refunded. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 24 hours of the course start time.

If Schacht must cancel the course for any reason, including travel difficulties (such as weather conditions) or instructor illness, we will issue a full refund and notify you as soon as possible. We will try to offer a reschedule date at the time of the cancellation.

Meet your instructor

Sienna Bosch

Sienna comes from Fort Collins, Colorado. She grew up in a family of craftspeople; her father is a woodturner. Sienna learned to weave while working towards her Bachelor's of Fine Arts at Colorado State University. She went into school thinking that she would study sculpture, but after one project on the loom, she discovered a passion for weaving. Alongside fiber art, Sienna studied art education. She was an intern for Schacht Spindle Company during the summer of 2019. She warped and wove on many looms in preparation for the Schacht's 50th Anniversary. Now, Sienna is back at Schacht as the Content Developer and Education Specialist.
