• tabby weft for bag: one 4-ounce cone of Gist Yarn Duet Cotton / Linen Weaving Yarn, color Anchor or Marble; 200 yds needed. We used Anchor (light gray) in photography and Marble (beige) in the videos. Choose a pale color that blends with the warp yarn.
• pattern weft for bag, warp & weft for strap: one 8-ounce cone Gist Yarn Beam 3/2 Organic Cotton Weaving Yarn; 250 yds needed. Choose your color—you'll want a color that stands out from the warp and tabby weft. We used Cobalt (bright blue) in photography and Jade (bright green) in the videos.
• sewing thread to match bag fabric if you will use a sewing machine

• 4+ shaft loom with at least a 15" weaving width–I am using a Wolf Pup 8.10
• warping board, mill, or peg set

This class is perfect for confident beginners, as we'll review winding warp chains, warping the loom, and weaving on a shaft loom. If you've already made one or two samplers or projects, you're ready.
