Includes one beater stop (also called a peg) and hardware to attach. Wolf looms require two beater stops.

Fits all Wolf looms.

Always replace beater stops with the same style currently on your loom. If your loom has no beater stops, look at the hole in the beater side.

  • If the hole is the same diameter all the way through, you need the plastic kit.
  • If the hole is small on the inner side and wide on the outer side, you need the dowel kit.

How to install

The PLASTIC KIT includes a nylon peg, washer, lock nut, and machine screw. 

Installation: You will need a #2 Phillips screwdriver and an adjustable wrench.

  1. Remove the beater top and the reed from the beater. If necessary, remove the old beater stop.
  2. Insert the 1/4-20 x 2" Phillips truss head machine screw through the 1" plastic peg, then through the beater side from its outer side.
  3. From the inside of the beater, secure the screw with a #12 washer and a 1/4-20 slim lock nut. You may find it helpful to hold the lock nut in place with a wrench.

The DOWEL KIT includes a slotted dowel and sheet metal screw.

Installation: You will need a #2 Phillips screwdriver and a rubber mallet.

  1. Remove the beater top and the reed from the beater. If necessary, remove the old beater stop.
  2. Using a rubber mallet, tap the slotted end of the dowel into the large hole on the the outer side of the beater side. 
  3. From the inside of the beater, secure the dowel with the sheet metal screw.
