Front extensions include the wood part only. Front beam and extension kits include the assembled front beam and extension plus hardware to attach to outside legs.

Fits all Wolf looms.

The front beam extension is held onto the front beam with three #8 x 1-3/4" Phillips flat head sheet metal screws. The front beam and the extension have pilot holes drilled into them. The assembled front beam and extension are then attached to the outside legs with 1/4-20 x 2" Phillips truss head machine screws and 1/4-20 barrel nuts.

How to install

Remove the old front beam and extension from the loom: unscrew the 2" machine screws from the outside legs. Two barrel nuts will fall out of the front beam.
If you're replacing only the front beam extension, remove the sheet metal screws attaching the extension to the front beam. Install the new extension to the front beam.
If you ordered the kit, set the new front beam and extension between the outside legs. The extension should be at the front of the loom.
Insert a barrel nut into the hole at one end of the front beam. Hold it in place with a slotted (flat) screwdriver. Insert a 2" machine screw through the outside leg and tighten it firmly into the barrel nut. Repeat on the other end of the front beam.
