Description

We offer lazy kates in several different styles, so you're sure to find one that's perfect for you. Bobbins sold separately.

  • The stand alone lazy kate will hold 4 standard bobbins (Irish or Scotch tension) or 3 bulky bobbins and is tensioned to prevent bobbins from overspinning while plying.
  • The Victoria lazy kate comes with all new Victoria spinning wheels. You can also purchase a rod to hold a third bobbin.
  • The lazy kate rack attaches to all single treadle spinning wheels in various positions. It will hold 2 standard Scotch tension or Irish tension bobbins.
  • For a double treadle wheel, you'll need a block to hold the lazy kate rack (twine rack). You can install blocks and racks on both sides of the wheel.
