Step into the world of spinning yarn. In this class, we'll focus on the drop spindle, an accessible tool that provides a foundation for learning and perfecting your spinning skills. You'll discover the fundamentals of using a drop spindle to create your own yarn, ideal for a variety of textile projects or to enjoy as a standalone craft. Our instructor will guide you through the process, offering tips to refine your technique and achieve the results you desire.

Stephanie Flynn

Stephanie has a degree in Retail Merchandising from Rochester Community and Technical College, and a degree in Accessory Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is a Schacht girl through and through. Name a Schacht product, and chances are she spins or weaves on it! Stephanie returned to Schacht in 2020 (after a few years away) as a Sales Specialist.
