Includes one heddle rod support—no screw. There are 3 heddle rod supports on the loom: 1 center, 1 left, and 1 right.

The center support narrows at the two ends, to prevent gaps in the weaving. The left and right supports do not narrow.

Heddle rod supports hold the two heddle rods on the shedding device.

How to Install

Heddle rod supports are attached to the shedding beam with 8-32 x 5/8" Phillips truss head machine screws.

  1. Set the shedding device handle in neutral. Remove both heddle rods.
  2. Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, remove the screw holding the heddle rod support. Save this screw.
  3. Slide the old heddle rod support out of the shedding beam.
  4. Insert the new heddle rod support into the hole, centering it in the beam.
  5. Attach the heddle rod support securely with the machine screw.
  6. Reinstall the heddle rods and their retainer rings.
