During our Saturday, October 4, 2025 event,
Celebrate Spinning & Weaving Festival, we are pleased to offer tune-ups for Louët spinning wheels with Dave van Stralen. Each appointment lasts 30 minutes. You and your wheel (along with flyer(s), all bobbins, etc.) must be present at the start time of your appointment. Any late arrivals or no shows will only receive a tune-up during their time slot. No refunds will be given for missed time or appointments. This is necessary to keep appointments moving as scheduled.
The tune-up service will cover:

A consultation to discuss any issues with your wheel.

An assessment to determine what your wheel needs.

A new drive band, if necessary.

Application of oil where needed and oiling education.

Tightening any loose parts.

A basic cleaning of your wheel.

Minor adjustments to improve spinning performance.

Parts replacement: Please be aware that any parts needing replacement will cost extra, potentially requiring additional time and labor charges. Should your wheel need more extensive work, we'll discuss options with you, including leaving your wheel with us or scheduling another visit.
