Tapestry Beaters

Tapestry beaters allow you to pack in picks of weft yarn, across an entire row of weaving or in small areas. They're perfect for tapestry looms and other small looms when you're weaving a weft-dominant or weft-faced fabric. Our 3 styles are made of hard maple with a smooth Danish oil finish:
- Our new Duet beater comes with interchangeable metal combs, set at 8 ends per inch and 12 ends per inch. To change combs, just loosen the screw in the handle, swap out the comb, and then retighten the screw.
- Choose the Weighted beater when you really want to cram in the weft yarn. Its wooden teeth are set at 5 ends per inch.
- The Single-ended beater has wooden teeth set at 5 ends per inch. Please note: this product will be discontinued when it sells out.
The Double-ended beater has been discontinued as of January 2025. We recommend the Duet beater as a substitute.
