Zoom Loom Zigzag Scarf
By Denise Renee Grace
This simple scarf—suitable for a first-time Zoom Loom weaver—uses sportweight wool. This type of yarn is a good choice for a first project because of its elasticity and weight. The finished scarf measures 7.5" wide x 65" long.
What You'll Need
Weave 30 squares—10 each of Bougainvillea, Lemongrass, and Turquoise Wonder. Sew in all tails.
Sew squares together in pairs, using Snow:
5 sets of Lemongrass and Bougainvillea
5 sets of Turquoise Wonder and Lemongrass
5 sets of Bougainvillea and Turquoise Wonder
Sew pairs together as shown in the diagram, offsetting the pairs by half a square. Arrange pairs in any order you wish or follow the sequence shown here.
Gently hand wash the scarf in warm water and a small amount of soap, agitating to lightly full. Rinse and lay flat to dry. Steam press as needed.
