It's best to buy reeds that match the weaving width of your loom. If you buy a narrower reed, it limits the weaving width of your projects.
To determine the weaving width of your loom, measure along the top of the beater between the beater sides.
We make reeds sized for all our shaft looms, in the following widths and dents:
- Cricket Quartet: 13-1/2" reeds in 6, 8, 10, 12, or 15 dent
- Schacht Table Loom: 15", 20", or 25" reeds in 6, 8, 10, 12, or 15 dent
- Wolf Pup (all models): 18" reeds in 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, or 20 dent
- Baby Wolf: 26" reeds in 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, or 20 dent
