- The front maiden has a screw on its right side. Loosen this screw with a #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the old bearing.
- Insert the new bearing, setting its edges parallel to the front maiden. Tighten the screw.
If the bearing is crooked or rotates as you spin, loosen this screw and seat the bearing properly. Tighten the screw enough so you can't knock the bearing out of position.
If the bearing fits tightly in the maiden, it may be difficult to remove or install until you turn it within the maiden. Rotate the bearing horizontally, until you see its side rather than its opening. Now you can pop the bearing into or out of the maiden easily.
