Front Maidens and Bearings for Matchless

Bronze and plastic bearings are not interchangeable in the regular front maiden! The plastic bearings require a larger hole!

Bronze orifice bearings fit all Matchless made before October 2023. The bearing comes with the housing. Loosen the screw on the side of the maiden, pop out the old bearing and housing, install the new bearing and housing, then tighten the screw.

Front maidens are sold fully assembled, with the plastic bearing installed.

• If the front maiden attaches to the mother of all (MOA) with a T knob, choose "front maiden for T knob."
• If the front maiden attaches to the mother of all (MOA) with a quick release lever, choose "front maiden for quick release."

Once the front maiden has been replaced to the style designed for plastic bearings, you can replace just the bearing.
