Course Description

Krokbragd is a beautiful Norwegian weaving technique that opens up a variety of new ways to create weft-faced designs in your weaving. Krokbragd fabric is sturdy and striking with endless pattern possibilities. This class focuses on maximizing color choices, understanding a Krokbragd draft, pattern design, using string heddles and a heddle rod, and, of course, weaving!

What You'll Need

Please bring water, lunch, scissors, a pen for taking notes, and a set of colored pencils (Or markers or crayons. We will have some extras if needed.).

Is This Course for you?

Prior rigid heddle weaving experience strongly recommended. Some pick-up stick knowledge is helpful, though it will be reviewed.

Sara Goldenberg White

For over a decade, Sara Goldenberg White has shared her passion for weaving with others. She flows between the classroom and her studio creating fine art and designing handwovens. Sara’s artwork has been shown across the country and her woven designs published in books and magazines. She has taught at various locations across the front range of  Colorado as well as through video. She looks forward to weaving with you!
