Our 8-shaft dobby loom lets you program your treadling sequence right on the loom—no tie-ups! You'll love the easy action of the single treadle and the generous countermarch shed. The Octado is made out of lacquered beech hardwood and the most complex castle section is pre-assembled.

Choose the dobby style you prefer: a mechanical dobby or an electronic dobby.
The mechanical dobby comes with program bars. Set up your treadling sequence with pins in the bar's holes, numbered to match the shafts. The pins control shaft movement as you weave your design.
The electronic dobby will give you almost unlimited harness combinations using a computer and WIF software from Fiberworks PCW, Patternland, Weavemaker, Weave It, WeavePoint or Pro Weave.
