Spring Has Sprung Card Weaving Band

Card weaving—one of the simplest and oldest types of weaving in existence—lets you create colorful patterns with minimal equipment. This simple band is a great example.

What You'll Need

10/2 pearl cotton in 5 colors—sample used dark pink, light pink, light blue, bright yellow, and white.

Inkle Loom and belt shuttle

Directions
Warp the loom with 16 ends of dark pink, 9 ends of light pink, 7 ends of light blue, 8 ends of bright yellow, and 20 ends of white.
Weave with dark pink. Weave 4 turns forward, 4 turns back, and repeat.
