New Feature: Product Measurement Diagrams

You may have noticed diagrams with product dimensions appearing on this site. We've been adding them to help you decide if a loom, spinning wheel, or other equipment will fit in your space. Please note: we made every effort to measure accurately to the closest half inch, but these dimensions are approximate.

Diagrams show the product from the side and from the front. For many products, diagrams are simplified to show exactly how we measured. Blue bars indicate the starting and ending points of each measurement. We provide the widest/tallest/deepest dimensions, but you might also see other useful measurements, like folded height or the depth of the Winding Station's top as well as its base.

For looms, these diagrams indicate weaving width as well as total width.

Finally, for spinning wheels, we've included two other measurements: drive wheel diameter because it determines the wheel's spinning ratios, and orifice height so spinners can find the most appropriate chair to suit the wheel.

We hope you find these diagrams helpful while you're looking at Schacht products.
