Below: Koigu Wool Designs KPM (left) and KPPPM (right), both merino wool sock yarn. We love the self-plaiding of the KPPPM swatch. Imagine putting a bunch of these squares together for a scarf? Wow!

Below: Ancient Arts Superwash Bluefaced Leicester 4-ply sock yarn, and Pollika 2-ply Organic Sock, from organic merino wool. This is a beautifully-feeling swatch and the color gradations make an appealing pattern where no two squares will be the same.

Below: Kollage Yarns Sock-A-Licious (wool/silk/nylon), fingering weight. This blend of fibers and slight color varations make for a subtle look that will be gorgeous worked up with crochet or knit joins.
